Horses in Training

ADAGE

2003 Bay Filly
Breeding: Vettori (IRE) / Aymara (Darshaan)
Owner: Lynne Burns

She has been running well, placed in her last 3 runs over 14 and 16 furlongs without managing to get her head in front just yet. She is again showing her best form on the polytrack, and remains in great form at home.

DANISH MONARCH

2001 Bay Gelding
Breeding: Great Dane (IRE) / Moly (Inchinor)
Owner: Little Farm Partnership II

He is fully recovered from the leg injury of 2006 and looks fantastic. He is running well in sellers and handicaps over 9 and 10 furlongs on the grass, showing he still has the ability to win

  GAZBOOLOU

2004 Bay Gelding
Breeding: Royal Applause / Warning Star (Warning)
Owner: Mrs A. Pinder

He has been running very well over a mile in competitive handicaps being placed without yet winning. He is particularly effective on the all weather and consequently there will be plenty of opportunities for him in the autumn.

  GOLDEN BROWN

2004 Bay Gelding
Breeding: Kyllachy / Sand Grouse ( USA) (Arctic Tern (USA))
Owner: Miss A. Jones

A winner at a mile last season, he now needs a little further and has been running well over 10 furlongs. He has been placed twice on the polytrack from unfavourable draws, and with a little luck should win one soon.

  HOUSE OF TUDOR

2005 Bay Gelding
Breeding: Medicean / Wrong Bride (Reprimand)
Owner: Miss M. Haine

Somewhat of an enigma so far this season, as he has failed to stay as expected. He is very tall(17 hands plus) and is a lovely fluent mover. The blinkers employed for his last run certainly woke him up, and he showed a lot of speed without getting home over 10 furlongs. Blinkers and a mile look ideal at present.

  LUNAR RIVER

2003 Bay Filly
Breeding: Muhtathir / Moon Gorge (Pursuit of Love)
Owner: The Little Farm Partnership

She has been a model of consistency this season, winning and being placed on several occasions. She thrives on racing, and never leaves a grain of food! In fact, despite all her races she still looks a little on the heavy side! Unfortunately, because of her good form the handicapper is never that kind to her, making it difficult for her to win many races.

  MIDSUMMER MADNESS

2006 Bay Filly
Breeding: Alhaarth(IRE) – Robalana(USA) (Wild Again(USA))
Owner: Ambermarley Partnership

Bought privately in July, she is a compact, athletic filly who is progressing well on the gallops. Her full brother has been successful at 1 mile and at 10 furlongs, so she will probably start her career at 7 furlongs. She should be ready to run in late September.
